OLD STUFF

Okay, I don't know any of the titles in this entire series.That's okay though, because I've got a lot of green, my favorite color of the time, so this makes up for any lack of provenance on my part, or lack of organization.

I love the creepiness of this. I wish I still had the piece. As for painting surfaces, linen is entirely over-priced, but it is a refreshing change from the relative flatness of canvas duck. You can't really appreciate the brushwork on this unless you can stand close enough to check out the multiple texture-osity (technical term). And, while most artists really don't like people fondling their work, touching this one was pretty cool, if you like exercising your tactile sense. And who doesn't?
